What safety standards do I need to know?
What safety standards do I need to know?
- Check seal before use: Make sure the base cover is screwed on tightly and the silicone pad is correctly installed to prevent leaks.
- Sealed carry is for cool coffee only: Only seal for transport with room-temperature or iced coffee. Do not seal with hot coffee (pressure changes can break the seal and leak).
- Grind size: Use medium or coarser grounds (not recommended for finer than medium).
- Before opening the Base Cover: Ensure the inner cup is fully pressed down and the cup is empty to prevent spills.
- Filter paper placement: Make sure the filter paper wraps around the silicone filter head to avoid grounds in the coffee.
- Pressing force: Do not exceed 120N when pressing down, too much force may deform parts and cause leaking or spraying.
- Brew dose guideline: For a clear standard, don’t brew more than 15g of coffee per extraction.
